Week Beginning 5th July 2021
Writing
At school we are creating leaflets about plants. We are using paragraphs, headings and sub-headings. You can use your plant knowledge to make up your own leaflet about the parts of a plant, the functions of a plant, the types of plants and how to keep a plant healthy. Or you can use the Oak Academy link below

Reading
In class we are finishing the Invisible Dog. At home try these lessons
about the Suitcase Kid by Jacqueline Wilson.
Math
In class we are calculating mass of objects by weighing. If your parents allow and you have scales, you could practice reading the scale and weighing the mass of objects around the house. Or even follow a recipe to bake something tasty!
These lessons from Oak Academy are about reading scales similar to our math no problem work in school.
