Week 6

PSHE

We know you are all facing lots of challenges at the moment and that at times it can be hard to stay positive. To try and help you all Miss Meehan has put together some lessons based around a newspaper called 'The Happy News'. Watch the video below to learn more about this newspaper.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVIBTQueVo4

I enjoyed reading that otters hold hands when they sleep so they don't float away from each other. We would love to know what piece of news made you happy!

ART

Unfortunately, we can not get out and about to see art in museums and galleries at the moment. Mr. Bashford recommends this site to learn all about different pieces of art that come from around the world. You can explore different continents and different eras.

I was especially interested in the three gold elephants in the Africa section. Let us know which pieces of art catch your eye.

It will ask you to select the device you are working on (either a computer or tablet). Next, it will ask you to select the language and for us it is French. After, chose the unit As-Tu Un Animal? (Do you have a pet?) as this is what we were working on before Christmas.

To help refresh your memory of all what we learnt, you may want to look at the flashcards and complete the worksheet first.

Select one of the games to play. As with PE, the French activities can be completed at any time this week.
